Rower's Bay Park 🌳Part 2 - Quick Experience Video
The Rower’s Bay Park is a nice, little park at the Southern Seletar end of the Yishun Dam. If you haven't had a chance to visit the tranquil Rower's Bay Park, check out our quick 2-minute ASMR experience of the Rower's Bay Park, with the relaxing Glacial Pace by Lish Grooves as background music. Relax and enjoy ..
Rower’s Bay Park is part of the Seletar Aerospace Park Heritage Trail - Seletar being a fishing village in the early days where the Orang Laut (‘sea peoples’) lived in houseboats, fished, and crafted baskets and furniture. I would say the park is great for a quiet retreat as well as a calming pit stop along your cycling or jogging route.
The nice thing about Rower's Bay Park is that it gives you a wide-angle panoramic view of the Lower Seletar Reservoir with a nice shot of vehicles plying along Yishun dam in both directions. Occasionally, you can even see a flock of egrets gliding just above the water surface or a clan of common sandpipers patrolling the greens of the park in the evening. So, a really nice place to chill out and soak in the serenity. I will recommend going there during sunrise or sunset, as the afternoon sun can get scorching hot.
Getting to Rower's Bay Park
To reach Yishun Dam by public transport, board Bus 117 from Khatib MRT Station and alight at the 'Aft Shell Aviation' stop on West Camp Road. A short walk will lead you to Yishun Dam and Rower's Bay. So, go pack your camera, enjoy the fresh air, and immerse yourself in the waterfront views. 🌊✨
